A couple of days ago I saw the release of the new line of XP-PEN graphics tablets
that are to replace the now old Star G430S/G640/ 03 tablets.
So I get one with 3 sizes , which I use for drawing, some non-vector illustration, and frame-by-frame animation practice.
It'll take you a little while to get used to a tablet, but once you do, you'll love it.
Oh gosh this is a beautiful tablet. It's basically the better version of everything I could imagine that the Star Series could be. now we have a super sleek looking Deco Fun. It even comes in other colours and still retain its elegance.
One of the first things I noticed on this tablet is the size, it has 3 sizes, so no worries there. The XS/ S size might even help with the portability.
The drawing surface feels like writing on paper, which is what shocked me when I first used it. I generally found drawing on the tablet quite enjoyable.
For free hand drawing a pen tablet is important for a lot of people.
I use my XP-Pen Deco Fun graphic tablet for drawing in digital art programs such as photoshop , illustrator , Clip Studio Paint, Krita , Gimp.....
I feel like drawing is so much easier, especially if you want to make some shapes with the pen tool.
The back of Deco Fun houses more things, other than the usual extra 10 nibs, that hole that helps you remove the nib from your pen etc.
Another plus to the new Deco Fun is the rubber stoppers at the back. which wouldn't cause your tablet to slide off a glass table.
The Deco Fun is also suitable for osu! With the lightweight battery-free pen, you can also move swiftly.
Since newer XP-Pen Deco Fun tablets do not have HotKeys on the bezel, a remote is almost necessary.
The tablet feels very cheap. The light weight and 3 different sizes may be a plus, but it seems that XP-Pen is trying to cut cost.
Deco Fun is a nice tablet worth the price, but the quality has been sacrificed because of it.
